FIREFIGHTERS

If you would like to serve your community as a volunteer firefighter, please print an application (pdf), fill it out and mail it to the address listed on the application. The Windsor Locks Fire Department will provide you with all required training, equipment, and incentive programs.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must pass a required medical physical.
• Must be a resident of Windsor Locks, CT.
• Must provide at least 2 letters of reference with your application.

EXPLORER POST #50

The Explorer Post offers teenagers 15 1/2 and older the opportunity to experience the world of firefighting and serving their community. They learn some of the skills necessary to become a firefighter and are a valuable tool of the Windsor Locks Fire Department.
